Pay Your Rent

There are five ways that you can pay your rent. For more information about how to use any of these payment methods contact your Housing Officer.

You can pay:

By Housing Benefit

Housing Benefit is money you may get from your local council to help you pay your rent. Housing Benefit can be paid straight to us by the local council to us as your landlord.

If you do not receive full Housing Benefit you will still have to pay all or some of your rent by one of the follwoing payment methods:

By Direct Debit

This is the easiest way to pay your rent. Payments can be made every Monday straight from your building society or bank account into ours. You can also choose to pay monthly on the 3rd or 20th of each month. We can only take an agreed amount from your account and we will tell you first if we need to change the account. You can download a Direct Debit form here. Complete it and return it Progress Care and we will do the rest.

By Swipe Card

Progress Care swipe cards let you pay your rent at any PayPoint and Payzone outlets, or the Post Office. Just present your card with your payment - cash or debit card - and it will be credited to your rent account. You will be given a receipt. Keep this safe as it is proof that you have paid your rent.
