About New Progress Housing Association
New Progress Housing Association provides high quality homes and housing management to communities across the North West. We took the transfer of the entire housing stock of South Ribble Borough Council in 1994 and since then have grown by building and acquiring new stock.
We now own and/or manage around 4,000 properties including general needs rented housing, sheltered housing for retired people, interim accommodation, HAMA schemes, market rent properties, and shared ownership and leasehold schemes
We are one of the housing associations chosen to pilot the Best Value initiative introduced by the Housing Corporation.
We operate a partnering arrangement with our in-house contractor based on Egan principles. Partnering has significantly improved void turnaround times and is proving cost effective.
Staff and tenants work in consultation to deliver better services. Our annual customer surveys show tenant satisfaction with services to be excellent.
