Estate Walkabouts

Our Estate Managers carry out regular walkabouts on the estates to see if there are any problems that the Association, Local Authority or other agencies need to deal with. Residents are always welcome to join our Estate Managers to walk around their estate.

If you want to join your Estate Manager on a walkabout on your estate, please contact them to confirm the details (very occasionally walkabouts may have to change at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances.)

Estate Standards

Our Estate Standards are:

  • Estates must be clear of fly tipping or dumped rubbish
  • Estates must be clear of graffiti
  • Grassed areas and shrubbed beds must be maintained in accordance with the grounds maintenance contract
  • Footpaths and communal areas must not be a trip or slip hazard
  • Communal lighting must be working
  • Fencing to communal areas of the estate must be free of defects
  • Individual garden areas must be maintained by tenants and residents to a satisfactory standard, be tidy and free of rubbish and dumped articles
  • Cars must be parked correctly and not repaired or maintained in communal parking areas
  • Untaxed cars must not be parked in communal parking areas
  • Communal areas must be free of weeds and defects
  • Articles must not be stored in communal staircases or on communal areas
  • Residents must be abiding to their conditions of tenancy or lease

Our Estate Managers monitor these Standards when they visit estates and undertake Estate Walkabouts. If you want to help them monitor Estate Standards then please join your Estate Manager on their next walkabout.
