Swap your home
As a tenant of New Progress Housing Association you are able to swap your home with another tenant of a housing association or local authority. This is a good way for you to arrange your own move - you don't have to go on any waiting list or wait for a property to become empty.
Details of people wanting to swap are advertised on our SelectMove website. Once on SelectMove website click on "properties" and then "mutual exchange".
Once you have found a property you are interested in, contact the other party using the contact details given in the advert. Once you have found another tenant who is interested in swapping with you, complete a Mutual Exchange application. You can download a copy here.
You must not move until the Association has given you written permission to do so. If you move and permission is refused you will be asked to move back at your own cost.
