NEW PROGRESS HOUSING ASSOCIATION launches its annual regional garden competition for green-fingered tenants this week. More than £1,000 in prizes is up for grabs in a competition that grows with popularity each year.
Anyone living in a New Progress property throughout the North West can enter the competition and there are categories to suit all types of gardens. Plus this year we are accepting nominations of neighbourhood gardens from friends and families.
Categories include containers, window boxes and hanging baskets; balconies, yards and gardens; communal areas; and vegetable or fruit patches.
There will also be a special prize for the most outstanding entry. The closing date for entry is Friday 22nd June with judging taking place in July.
