How to pay your rent

There are four convenient ways to pay your rent to New Progress:

1. By Direct Debit
Monthly or weekly from your building society or bank account. You remain in control and can cancel the direct debit at any time. Click here to download a Direct Debit form now. Complete and return to: The Database Team, New Progress Housing Association, Sumner House, 21 King Street, Leyland, PR25 2LW. Don't forget to include your Tenancy Number.

2. By swipecard
New Progress swipe cards let you pay your rent at any PayPoint and Payzone outlets, or the Post Office. Just present your card with your payment - cash or debit card - and it will be credited to your rent account. You will be given a receipt. Keep this safe as it is proof that you have paid your rent.

3. By Internet
Click here to pay your rent or any other payments securely online using your debit card.

4. By telephone
Payments in respect of rent, sundry debts and service charges can be made by debit card over the telephone. Contact the Database Team on telephone number 01772 450610 to make a payment. Please note: we can only take payment from the card holder.


View your rent account online
You can view the last ten transactions on your rent account online. To access your account online, you will need a unique username and password. To request your username and password please contact the Database Team on 01772 450610 or come in and speak to a member of staff at Progress Housing Group, Sumner House in Leyland. Housing Benefit
You may be entitled to help in paying your rent. Please contact your local council for further information.
