- Tenants making wilful holes in walls and doors
- Lock damage or loss of keys
- Broken windows if done on purpose or due to carelessness
- Putting hot pans directly onto kitchen work surfaces
- Failing to clean out the filter on a tumble dryer or washing machine
- Failing to de-ice fridges and freezers, thus causing them not to work

How will the repair be recharged?

In the first instance PCHA will ensure the repair is done within the agreed time. We will discuss with you if we are going to recharge you the cost of the repair. If you disagree with this recharge you have a right to appeal. If the repair is still thought to be chargeable we will forward you an invoice. In this instances we will forward an invoice to whoever has casued the damage. This will need to be paid promptly.
