Shared ownership for people with learning disabilities

Shared ownership is an affordable alternative to renting a home or buying a property outright. It helps people who want to buy their own home but cannot afford to do so. It is particularly helpful for people who would have difficulty raising a deposit or whose income would not support a full mortgage.

Progress Care Housing's shared ownership schemes help individuals or groups of people with learning disabilities to own their own home. Even if a person cannot work, and therefore has no income and little or no savings or deposit, we can help them to become a shared owner.

We also offer a multiple shared ownership scheme, which enables groups of two or more people with similar needs to buy their own home. If you would like more information please contact either John Field or Nicola Byrne.
